Annamalai a former IPS officer — State BJP President of Tamil Nadu has at this point casting a strong perception in the State of Tamil Nadu. In common perception he is primary opponent of the ruling DMK, than AIADMK.

If BJP by itself, even in an alliance crosses say 10 percent of polled votes — than definitely the ground would change in Tamil Nadu for BJP. For decades State Regional Parties DMK and AIADMK have controlling 25- 30 percentage of Votes. No other political party has ever crossed 10% of votes polled in, Hence always been dependent on these two parties to form Government. In case BJP achieved 10% mark in coming State election then definitely it would be the game changer in favour of BJP. Without doubt Annamalai is really working hard, becoming popular specially among women and youth — Rest only time will tell but at the moment Annamalai shows great promise.
