Pathankot Punjab,Report Samir Gupta Bureau Chief — Senior Indian Police Service Officer B Srinivasan is appointed as new Director General of the National Security Guard ( NSG). Srinivasan is a 1992 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment from the date of joining the post and upto August 31, 2027 — the date of his superannuation said a personnel Ministry order.
