Rewa. At the historic battle site of Rewa state, Sangram Teerth Naikhai, under the leadership of Brahmarishi Vishwamitra Lok Seva Sangthan and Sangram Teerth Naikhai’s coordinator former District President Lal Bahadur Singh, the ancestors were worshipped and tribute was offered to the immortal martyrs by offering prayers. In this historic battle of Rewa state, in the year 1796, 200 soldiers fought against Nayak’s army of ten thousand and won by beheading him. Queen Kundan Kuwari was getting information about every moment of this war while sitting in the fort. Two historic wars were fought in Rewa state, the Bundela war in 1703 and the war with Nayak in 1796, both were historic wars. All those martyred brave martyrs were paid homage by offering prayers during Pitru Paksha. Descendants of brave martyrs from Raipur, Karchulian, Dihiya, Naudhiya, Naugaon, Mangawan, Itma, Bhatlon, Dihiya alias Narsinghpur, Silpara, Kastari, Jabalpur, Mahswan, Govindgarh, Rewa participated in the Pitru Pujan program.
