Pathankot Punjab, Report Samir Gupta, Bureau Chief : As tensions between India and Pakistan continue to rise, authorities in Punjab’s district Gurdaspur have imposed a night time blackout with immediate effect. The move announced by DC Gurdaspur , marks one of the most significant civilian precautions in the region since the recent military escalation. The blackout set from 9pm to 5am daily will continue until further order as a security measure in response to the prevailing cross border situation.
